Mass media have for a long time been feeding us with “horrors” from life of homeless people, prostitutes, drug consumers. The so-called left press groans with thousands of voices of offended pensioners, veterans, workers defrauded of their salaries, quashed and burnt miners. But I have no more compassion for them. Not a little. No matter that they tell how many years they devoted to their plant now cut and sold for scrap metal, how they fought at war heroically, how they are non-paid and how ceilings crush down at schools of decrepitude…
Sirs, you curse in vain the government, corruption, bureaucrats and all the others conventional to be cursed. This “in vain” relates to the elderly generation especially. It is you who might keep silence. You desired it yourselves! Even a baby turns away from the spoon and spits out porridge if it doesn’t want to eat. But you kept the warning under your belt in 1991! Even before you were sweeping along with the “party line”. It were you who brought up your children as drug consumers, alcoholics, prostitutes. They wait for your death like vultures to inherit the flats you had got free from the Soviet Country. Like you they don’t love their children and sell themselves abroad and sentence their children to homelessness.
It were you, Messrs. miners and workers who wanted “effective owners” to own you… sorry, to own your mines and plants.
It were you, whores of all kinds, who enjoyed the film “Inter-Girl” dreaming of fine life.
It is you who say now you did not understood anything and did not know what market reforms would result to. I don’t trust you. It was my time to see large libraries where you could read free about how we would live nowadays. And I read it. And you did. And I saw textbooks by which you studied free. Notwithstanding that lack of knowledge of economic and social development laws does not discharge from responsibility.
Messrs. Veterans, you have poorly taught “courage lessons”. You have forgot at those times to tell the youngest generation something very important. You wanted peaceful sky over your heads too much. So you have got the result. In the late 1980es you were reproached that we drank “Zhigulevskoe” beer instead of Bavarian, and in the 21st century you are officially set equal to Banderovites and in fact you are set below them. If it had been written over the gates of one “wonderful” institution named Auschwitz “Everyone to his trade”, now a cinema authority named Antibiotic added to this “Even his trade not to everyone”. You may write it at your slogans when you would stand at some “Maidan” for 50 hryvnas a day for the next time. So it makes me laugh when you strive for the next “Julia’s thousand” trampling each other and later you complain that prices have risen. It makes me laugh when you try to look clever telling we have “incorrect capitalism” but at the West “life is staggering!” And you conclude delirious theories to justify your fantasies, charging everybody but yourselves of all your troubles.
Explain only, what for do you hate your children so much? They are not guilty of anything! But you left them a “third world” country with “post-war economy”. Of course, there are still cozy heat pipelines somewhere, very “healthy” glue is still being sold at shops, and child pornography is in vogue again in satiated with perversions Europe, and your children appear to survive… But is it a decent future for a human?!
Those poor I have compassion for, a lot of compassion. And I hate guts of those who have foredoomed such kind of life for them, who have allowed to restore capitalism, that’s why people like me and myself are in prisons. And you, Messrs., please, die as soon as possible. As long as you don’t want to help to correct your own mistakes - then don’t hinder at least!
